The Eagles took a rough road trip last week and played two teams contending for Big Sky Tournament berths to one possession games with less than a minute to go.  They won against Southern Utah and fell just short against Northern Arizona.  It took a lot of team work and some excellent play to overcome some offensive struggles.  These four players stood out among their team mates.  Click below to read a write up for each!

Eagle Eye POW Week 15

Venky Jois the Eagles star Junior Forward appeared to be near 100% for the first time in 10 games against Southern Utah as he led all scorers with 22 points, he added 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals.  In a heartbreaking and season changing loss to Northern Arizona, Jois was one of only 3 Eagles to score in double figures with 15 points.  He added 3 rebounds, 1 block and 1 assist.  His two game totals: 37 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals and 1 assist.

Felix Von Hofe the sophomore from Australia went 6 of 10 from the field in two games, providing the Eagles with 28 solid minutes and some offensive stability on a pair of days when shots just wouldn't fall.  Felix was also 3 of 5 from beyond the arc.  His two game totals: 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

Bogdan Bliznyuk, the Blizzard rained in 27 points, going 10 of 16 from the field including 3 of 7 from long range.  He also added 13 rebounds and 3 steals.  His 13 rebounds led the Eagles for the week and he also played without a single turnover in 55 solid minutes.  His two game totals: 27 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals and 0 turnovers.

Tyler Harvey, the nation's 2nd leading scorer struggled to find his mark from the floor hitting just 9 of 25 shots.  Harvey was still near perfect from the free throw line going 11 of 13.  Tyler stepped up his game everywhere else as he added a season high 8 rebounds against Southern Utah.  Tyler was flying all around the court and despite offensive struggles he dished out 5 assists and nabbed 3 steals.  His two game totals: 33 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
