The Eagles stormed from behind to win their only game this week 98-95 in overtime.  As Coach Hayford has said, he wants his team to be the team of the week.  That was certainly true this week.  So without further ado, please check out this week's #EagleEyePOW nominees.

The Big Sky Conference selected Drew Brandon as their Co-Player of the week, and it's impossible to argue with the choice.  Drew played like a legend down the stretch to will his team back into this game and ultimately to victory.  His stat line wasn't even as impressive as his performance.  18 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal and 1 turnover.  Brandon also played the final 15 minutes of regulation with 3 fouls and the last 1:27 and over time with 4 fouls.  He didn't give up, didn't let up and kept going after the ball and strong to the rim including scoring the final basket to force overtime.

Eagle fan Rafter_Reese, on the Eagles Fan Forum said, "There was a Blizzard at Reese Court [Saturday] and it happened indoors."  Bogdan Bliznyuk was a whirling dervish of destruction on Saturday night and if any nickname fits for the Eagles Phenom Freshman, The Blizzard is certainly it.  21 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal including 10 points, 5 rebounds and a steal in the closing minutes as the Eagles fought back and won in overtime.

It's very hard to move past these two, but I feel it would be remiss to ignore the contributions of Ognjen "OG" Miljkovic also added huge points down the stretch, finishing with 17 points and 5 rebounds including going 4 of 9 from beyond the arc.  His stat line was certainly not as impressive as Mr. Triple Double Threat or The Blizzard, but the Eagles don't pull off the comeback without him.  OG scored 6 of the teams final 16 points in regulation including a 3 point shot and an old fashioned 3 point play.
