Good morning Eagle fans!  Eastern sits atop the Big Sky after winning the nation's first NCAA DI men's basketball game of the season.  Tonight the Eagles will play their second game when they host the Utah Valley University Wolverines, tip off at 5:05 p.m. PT.  Lets take a run around the Internet to get you warmed up for tonight's non-conference match up.

First stop on our trip, the espn.com clubhouse page for the Eagles, its an easy site to check out the upcoming schedule, team statistics and rankings.  Of note, after one game EWU is 11th in the nation in blocks per game with 9.0.

For our second stop, check out www.bigskybball.com for Jonathan Reed's summary of the BigSky Conference action over the weekend.  Be sure to check out his post game summary of the Eagles win over Texas Southern.

Check out Jim Allen's game report on the Spokesman Review website.  Don't miss the game story on goeags.com.  Both stories feature some good quotes, notably from Head Coach Jim Hayford and Forward Venky Jois.

For a view from the other side, head over to the Deseret News website and check out this preview for tonight's match-up.  Don't miss their write up on the EWU Women's opening victory over UVU.

Mid Major Madness reviewed Eastern's big win, so did Bleacher Report saying, "Still, it's hard no to like Eastern Washington's three-headed monster of Brandon, Harvey and Venky Jois."

The Inlander gives us Basketball for Breakfast, the game report by Mike Bookey.

In case you missed it, EWU Eagle Eye also reviewed the game.  Keep an eye out for more to come later today, I am working on a preview for tonight's match up as well as an update on the upcoming Big Sky schedule of games.
