EWU Eagle Eye Hoops Morning Links Tuesday November 25, 2014

Good morning Eagle fans!  Flush off an impressive win of Indiana, the Eagles are preparing for tomorrow nights match up with Northern Kentucky at Reese Court.  We get to bask in the glow of a nationally televised Eagle victory for another day though, so continue after the break and we'll check out all the news on the Internet.

First stop, as usual, is Jonathan Reed's www.bigskybball.com blog, for some notes on the Big Sky before the Holiday break, where he points out that so far Eastern looks like the best in the Big Sky.  Of course he wrote that before last night's win at Assembly Hall.

Next stop, goeags.com, for the official team recap, including Coach Jim Hayford's effusive praise for his team after "the biggest win of [his] time at Eastern."

Check out a view from the Hoosier perspective, Head Coach Tom Crean wanted to practice right after the game because his team, "learned tonight what attack basketball really looks like."

Sam Vecenie at cbssports.com, called this loss for the Hoosier, "unacceptable,"  adding that Indiana, "was man-handled by Eastern Washington."

Ryan Corazza of insidethehall.com, was pretty disgusted with Indiana's "non-existant defense."

The Spokesman Review's Jim Allen, compiled this post game report pointing out Parker Kelly's contributions late including HC Jim Hayford's quote, "I thought it was really fitting that Parker put the nail in the coffin with his 3."

Kyle Grand of hoosierstateofmind.com, wraps up the game succinctly, "Woof."  He goes on to give 3 points on the loss for Indiana.

Finally, if you didn't see it, here's the EWU Eagle Eye game recap.

It's Tuesday, so I'll be posting the EWU Eagle Eye Player of the Week nominations shortly.  Be sure to comment or tweet @ewueagleeye with #EAGLEEYEPOW with your vote!
