Martin has played well in his first two starts amassing 29 points, 20 rebounds, 9 blocks and 1 steal, including his 27 point, 17 rebound and school record 7 block performance against Cal State Northridge. Martin has a chance to have a very special season for the Eagles.

He appeared in 11 games averaging 4.3 minutes per appearance for the Ducks. In a total of 51 minutes, Martin scored 8 points pulled in 9 rebounds and had 3 blocks, 2 assists and 1 steal.

Martin should provide the Eagles with a solid presence in the post this season and especially as he gains experience.

From goeags.com, Hayford on Seiferth: “Martin Seiferth is a very athletic 6-10 post player -- he can run the court north-south as fast as anybody his size. He is an outstanding shot blocker and a solid rebounder. As Martin gains game experience, he will develop over the course of his career and be an outstanding post player in the Big Sky Conference.”
