Player Profile: Justin Crosgile (#5) Junior Guard

Justin Crosgile (#5) Junior Guard, 5'11” 170lbs
Paterson, NJ - DePaul Catholic High School class of 2009

Justin is a confident shooter and although he hasn't hit the percentage of his shots that he wants so far, expect that to improve as he gains confidence in the Eagles offense and chooses his places more wisely. In his first two games as an Eagle Justin has scored 46 points going 15 of 38 form the field, including 9 of 25 from beyond the arc. We'd like to see a few more assists and a few less turnovers per game out of the spot, but Head Coach Hayford's offense runs through the Point Guard and Justin is proving he has all the skills necessary to do that.

Eagle's fans should be excited to see how Justin develops this year, he's got big time experience from playing a lot of minutes in the Atlantic 10 conference, he was highly recruited out of high school and he has mountains of confidence.

From goeags.com, Hayford on Crosgile: “Justin Crosgile is a very gifted point guard, and he can also play off the ball as well. As Justin learns to fit his game into the Eastern offensive system, the sky is the limit for just how good he can be. Justin works extremely hard every single day -- he lives in the gym, loves the game and loves his teammates. He is willing to do whatever he needs to do to be the best that he can be.”
