Player Profile: Jordan Hickert (#25) Senior Forward

Jordan Hickert (#25) Senior Forward, 6'9” 230lbs
Bunbury, Australia - Bunbury High School class of 2007

Jordan is a confident outside shooter, especially for a big man. At 6.9" and 230lbs Jordan is lean and long and uses his length aggressively, at times too aggressively he averaged 2.5 personal fouls a game despite playing just 12.2 minutes a night. He flashed his impressive abilities in the first four games of February 2012 where he averaged 5 points, 2 rebounds, 0.25 assists and 0.25 steals to go with only 2 personal fouls and 0.5 turnovers while hitting 50% of his shots form the field and 60% from beyond the three point line.

Jordan enters this season as the team's only returning player in the 4 and 5 spots. Defensively he needs to improve his positioning to prevent some of the foul trouble he experienced last year. If he does that he will earn more minutes and opportunities to show his offensive fire power. The Eagles should be counting on Jordan as a solid contributor as he has the skills necessary to become a very good inside out post threat.

From goeags.com, Hayford on Hickert: “Jordan will have a solid senior season, as he has gained from the experience of one year in our system. He is one of the best shooting big men in the Big Sky Conference, has a strong intelligence for the game, and is a person of great character and discipline. Our coaching staff really enjoys coaching Jordan
