Good morning Eagle Fans!  We are inching closer to game action for the 2012-1013 Eagles Hoops team, just one week from Sunday the Eagles will play in their final exhibition of the season.  Let's take a spin around the web and see what folks are talking about.

Please follow us on Twitter and Like us on Facebook:

OK, so I know that "Big" Cliff isn't on this current Eagles squad, his picture this morning is fitting.  With just over a week to go, I wanted to remind everyone about the great games and great performances of individual Eagles last season.  Over the final five weeks of last season we nominated and chose one Eagle for their outstanding performance each week and named them the EWU Eagle Eye Player of the Week.  "Big" Cliff Ederaine will always hold a special place in this blog's history as the first!  Be sure to head over to the EWU Eagle Eye Player of the Week page to review all five winners from last season.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way lets get back on course for this morning's tour of the web, first stop, for their Morning Five look at five hot topics in NCAA Basketball.

Next stop, where Jon offers a look at the depth, or lack thereof, for Sacramento State and takes a look at Northern Arizona's rotation.

Now we head over to where Mike Meister offers 9 ways to improve your basketball game.  The article is a good quick read offering tips on everything from quality control to dedication and discipline.

For a must read stop this morning, go check out this article on from Greg Crawford (Follow him on Twitter @wchoops).  Crawford discusses the rise of star power in the Big Sky from Rodney Stuckey to Damian Lillard and finally discusses his thoughts on whether Will Cherry will step into those star powered boots.

Next stop is a little closer to home, head over to, and check out the latest from Sam Boynton, he's got some interesting photo's of the Eagles practice.

Don't forget about and Troy Machir's Morning Mix.  He's got a good mix of stories in there this morning including an interesting one with connections to Western Washington University and the University of Washington.

That's it for now, but we've got lots more in store to fill the pages between now and November 4th.  GoEags!
