Good Morning Eagle Fans!  I have too much time on my hands this Sunday as its muggy, rainy and generally disgusting outside here in central Texas.  So I took some time to scroll through the web for EWU Eagle news and reads.  As should be expected there isn’t a lot of BBall news with both the men and women’s teams seasons recently ended in the Big Sky Conference tournament, but there is plenty of other Eagle action, so stay with us after the break to fill your Sunday entertainment gaps.

Our first stop is where Brandon provides an update on Eagle QB Bo Levi Mitchell’s quest to find a home to play football at the next level.

Next we swing by where Jon offers a look at the latest commitment to the Weber State Wildcats, a recap of the Montana Grizzlies first round loss to Wisconsin in the NCAA’s as well as an update on Weber State’s quest for CIT glory.

Head on over to Eastern 24/7 where they provide a note for current EWU Students that this week is finals week.  Kandi Carper offers an update on some Eastern Washington programs shuffling office space, including Running Start, Global Initiatives and Undergraduate Studies.  Brian Lynn profiles the success of Eastern Washington’s TRiO graduates and their efforts to give back to the community.

Meanwhile the Eastern Washington University student newspaper the Easterner has been busy, Frank McnEilly offers this view of the Eastern Washington Service Learning programs, Al Stover offers a review of the Eastern Washington Theater Programs production of Anthony and Cleopatra.  Finally Frank McNeilly previews the Research and Creative Works Symposium which provides opportunities for Eagle faculty and students to present their work in art, music, creative writing and research presentations.

And for your final stop, check out our latest posts featuring highlights of Tremayne Johnson, Laron Griffin and Cliff Colimon as well as a look at this past season and prospects for the 2012-2013 season for Collin Chiverton and Jeff Forbes.  Be sure to check out the Eagles Summer Basketball camps as well.

That’s it for now, enjoy your Sunday and stay tuned this week for more highlights and season retrospectives.  Let me know if there is anything you want to know more about or see posted here on the blog.
