Few players were as fun to watch as “Big” Cliff Ederaine was during this Eagles season.  Whether it was his electric back to back double doubles against Northern Arizona and Sacramento State, an effort for which he earned the first ever EWU Eagle Eye Player of the Week honors, or when he stepped into the distributor role as he did against Idaho State.

Cliff was third on the team in scoring with 10.9 per game, led all eagles in rebounding (7.9) and blocks (1.3) and was second in assists (3.0) and steals (1.3).  Ederaine was an all around threat on offensive, with impressive ball skills that gave teams fits when he’d drive the lane, pull up for a long range jumper to keep them honest or dish to his teammates.  Cliff never shied from contact and led all Eagles in Free Throw attempts with 145 on the year.

Coach Hayford and crew will have their work cut out filling the big void left in the wake of “Big” Cliff Ederaine’s graduation.  And now for the good stuff, Cliff’s season highlight video:
