Good Morning Eagle Fans!  Before we launch into our regularly scheduled tour of the web, please take a moment to check out our Community Links doc and share anything and everything Eagles you find on the web here:

Here’s what was shared yesterday:

Breaks down post season...

Now onto our Internet search driven tour:

Must read: offers their stats laden recap of Wednesday nights Eagle victory and offers some fun “StatSmack,” stats you can use to prove the Eagles are better than the Bears, “We have a history of cultivating talent. Over the past 10 years Eastern Washington has had more players drafted by the NBA than Northern Colorado (1 vs 0).”  The StatSmack’s even have a twitter button built in for ease of smack tweeting.

The UNC Mirror offers their recap of the Bears Wednesday night collapse. gives us a quick look at the upcoming Sears Bracketbuster match with UC Irvine.   “We will use the BracketBuster game to make us better and as a chance to teach us how to win,” said the first-year EWU head coach. “We’re putting our uniforms on so we’re playing to win. We are not going to hide guys because of injuries. We’re building a program, so we need to learn how to win, which is why we’re going down to play a winning team.”

Vince at the Spokesman Review gives us the run down on area hoops, including some links for EWU Basketball fans.  “The Eagles looked to be mailing in their Wednesday night game against Northern Colorado when they fell behind by 17 points. But something clicked, they rallied down the stretch and pulled out a-hard-to-fathom 79-76 victory.”  Unfortunately you have to scroll way down past four or five other sections to find the bit on the Eagles.

From the twitter feed of Patchin Lukens and Osso (@700espn) some breaking news regarding Dennis Patchin whose enthusiasm for play by play radio coverage of the Eagles is only matched by his desire for sprinkles.

And finally, can’t forget about our own recap of the Wednesday night Eagles rally.  That’s all for now, but I look forward to bringing more EWU Basketball coverage, including a look at the match up with UC Irvine and the Eagles prospects for the post-season.
