Good Morning Eagles Fans!  Tonight the Eagles will be battling for rights to play the first round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament at Reese Court.  Tip off isn’t until 6:05pm pst, so in order to help pass the time lets take a tour to see what folks are saying about the Eagles on the web.

First stop: goeags.com has a preview of tonight’s regular season finale.  “We’re like a team with nine lives,” said Hayford. “We have something big to play for – a chance to host a home playoff game. That will get all of our attention and we’ll keep building on the positives -- that seems to be working.”

Second stop:  Jon at bigskybball.com offers a look at the story-lines for this week in Big Sky Conference play. “Eastern Washington and Idaho State will play for homecourt advantage.
It is an odd end to the year for these two teams... they met on February 23 in Pocetello (won by Eastern Washington), they will meet again on February 28 in Cheney, and then will meet again on Saturday at the homecourt of whoever wins tomorrow.”  He also offers a glimpse at the one game that will impact all the teams in the conference tournament - Weber State @ Montana, the winner will host the Conference Tournament.

Third stop: head over to beyondthearc.nbcsports.com for Troy Machir’s primer on Championship week in NCAA basketball.  Then check out his Morning Mix for links around the web’s non-Big Sky stories.

Fourth stop: Ewureview.com for the always necessary stats laden breakdowns of last weeks action: @ Portland State and @ Idaho State.  But more importantly check out their preview of tonights match up and be sure to get your StatSmack ready, “We make our fans proud. Eastern Washington has a better record at home than Idaho State this season (7-4 vs 5-8).”
