Inactive Eagles Climb Big Sky Standings and Links

As a result of yesterday’s Big Sky Conference games the Eagles have climbed a place in the standings and are now sitting in a 3 way tie for 4th place with the Portland State Vikings and the Northern Colorado Bears at 3-3 in conference play.  That makes tomorrow’s match up with the Vikings of Portland State that much more important for the Eagles post season hopes.

Colton Woods of the Portland State Vanguard offers this recap of the Vikings victory over the Bengals of Idaho State on Monday night, including the career high 29 points by senior guard Charles Odum.

Also on the Vanguard, Alex Moore, explains a new trend in the Vikings fan section formerly known as the Green Horde.

The Easterner’s Fedor Gaponenko, offers this profile of Senior Guard Collin Chiverton, “My life has always been about basketball, “said Chiverton. “It was always my favorite sport.”

Brandon at eaglespov.com posted a new page on his blog detailing the standings of the Big Sky Conference including the RPI rankings for each of the teams and highlighting the Eagles upcoming recruiting class.

As a programming note, I will be travelling this weekend so content may be a little light for tomorrow nights game.
