EWU Eagles links for Wednesday morning.

Big Sky Commissioner Doug Fullerton
Good Morning Eagles fans, we had a surprisingly big day in the news yesterday so lets take a quick run down the links:

Jim Allen of the Spokesman Review reporting on the new TV deal between the Big Sky Conference and DirecTV Sports / Root Sports Network.  Big Sky Commissioner Doug Fullerton said the moves coincides with the expansion of the conference to include Southern Utah University and the University of North Dakota as full members as well as Cal Poly and UC Davis as Football only members.  The deal is great news as they will be broadcasting 18 regular season football games, 12 conference basketball games as well as the conference tournament quarter and semi-final rounds.

ewureview.com has their statistic laden game recap here.

Jon at bigskybball.com offers a bevy of good articles starting with his recap of the Portland State - Idaho State game, moving quickly on the his recap of the Eagles - Redhawks game,  Jon alos has a good write up on the new TV Deal for the Big Sky.

Brandon at eaglespov.com also offers his write up on the Big Sky TV Deal.  Additionally Brandon offers a quick glimpse at each of the coming games in the Eagles homestand, saying that for the Eagles there is no place like home.

In other Eagles sports news, goeags.com tells us that the Men’s and Women’s Tennis pres-season rankings have come out featuring the Men’s and Women’s teams ranked 4th and 5th respectively in the Big Sky.

Also from goeags.com, The Eagles Men’s and Women’s track teams saw seven more athletes qualify for the Conference Championships at the UW Preview on Saturday.  The next meet for the Eagles is a team invitation at the University of Washington on January 27th and 28th.
